  • Salary : $87,339 - $130,998 per year
  • $10,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Full-Time, No Weekends

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Oversee the daily operations and strategic planning of the Critical Care Unit, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards and optimizing patient care.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and quality improvement initiatives that enhance service delivery and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage the department budget, staffing levels, and resource allocation to ensure efficient and effective operation.
  • Foster a collaborative environment among staff, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain high employee engagement and satisfaction through effective leadership, training, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; enrolled in a program within 12 months if not already obtained.
  • Active RN license in the State of Alaska.

American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.

Minimum three years of nursing experience in ICU, including two years specializing in open-heart recovery.

  • Strong leadership, clinical, and organizational skills essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint, with strong analytical skills to interpret data and propose solutions.
