As a brand new establishment in the bustling Brea Mall food court, we are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and a memorable dining experience to our guests.
Position Overview :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shift Lead to join our team and help us establish our brand presence in the Brea Mall food court.
The Shift Lead will play a pivotal role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations during their assigned shifts, providing leadership to the team, and delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Oversee daily operations during assigned shifts, including opening and closing procedures
- Supervise and motivate team members to maintain high standards of service and efficiency
- Assist with training new team members on restaurant policies, procedures, and menu items
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Manage inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed
- Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with management to implement strategies for improving restaurant performance and customer satisfaction
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including food preparation areas and dining areas
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively delegate tasks and motivate team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven customer service experience with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of Asian cuisine and / or experience working in a similar concept restaurant is a plus
- Proficient in food service operations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods, lift up to 30 pounds, and use hands for your entire shift
- Frequently bend and kneel to effectively run a restaurant
