About The Position
Job Title : Interventional Radiology Technologist Job Specialty : Interventional Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 5x8-Hour (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 2 years in specialty required License : Valid Kentucky or compact license required Certifications : ARRT, ACLS, BLS Must-Have : EPIC experience Job Description : Work five eight-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, 7 : 30 AM to 4 : 00 PM.
- Required to be on call one day per week and every alternate week.- Participate in 3 additional call days every 60 days, which include two weekdays and one weekend day.
- Weekend call occurs every seven to eight weeks, covering from Friday night through Monday morning.- Potential to float between specified locations as needed.
- Perform various procedures, including : - Angiograms - Venograms - PICC - Port a Cath - Vertebroplasty - GI bleed - Embolization - Biliary tube exchange - Nephrostomy - IVUS - Fistulagram - Trans-jugular biopsy - IVC filter removal - Experience with thrombectomy for neuro cases is required.
- Equipment used includes EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, Jeti.- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines are required, with exemptions for medical or religious reasons.
- Follow dress code guidelines, including restrictions on tattoos, piercings, and nail length.- Expectation to work some holidays.
- Staff apparel should not display any agency or brand logos.- Commitment to 16 hours of non-billable orientation.Please note that applicants should not currently be in the process of applying for a permanent role with the healthcare provider within the last 6 months.
