About The Role

The Channel Company has an excellent opportunity for an Audience Engagement Specialist to join our Events team. This role is a mix of business development and customer service, ultimately responsible for meeting a quota by delivering the required number of qualified attendees for all events (conferences, workshops, lunches, dinners, receptions) and ensuring attendee and sponsor satisfaction. Success requires developing relationships with executives globally through cold outreach.

What You'll Do

• Build relationships with potential attendees through cold calls, emails, LinkedIn connections, and referrals from past and present attendees.
• Encourage potential attendees to register for upcoming events.
• Invite, confirm, and track RSVPs for custom activities at events (private lunches, private dinners, workshops, etc.).
• Provide customer service to all attendees by responding to calls and emails in a timely manner.
• Book travel and accommodations for all hosted events.
• Provide onsite support to attendees and internal staff (registration desk, attendee guidance, boardroom setup, check-in for events and activities).
• Maintain accurate records in reporting / tracking systems to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Travel required; estimated travel commitment is 10%–15%.
