About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : Emergency Room Job Duration : 14 weeks Shift : Night - 3x12 - 7pm - 7am, 36 Hours per week Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : Not specified License : GA or compact license required Certifications : ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Must-Have : Ability and willingness to float to the Clinical Decision Unit as needed;
must live outside a 50-mile radius Job Description : - Work night shifts in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
- Provide direct nursing care to patients in urgent and emergency situations. - Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications, perform diagnostic tests, and handle emergency procedures as needed. - Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment.
- Work every other weekend as part of the shift rotation. - Float to the Clinical Decision Unit as necessary based on department needs.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills. - Comply with hospital policies and procedures, maintaining a safe environment for patients and staff.
