Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position seeks a Special Education Teacher to provide dedicated support to students in kindergarten through 2nd grade. The role requires a cross-categorical Wisconsin teaching license and will focus on a caseload of approximately 10 students with moderate to mild needs. The contract runs from August 27th through June 6th and is full-time for the school year.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students
• Deliver specialized instruction tailored to the learning needs of students in grades K-2
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
• Monitor and document student performance and adjust teaching strategies accordingly
• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment to enhance learning and development

Qualifications :

Valid Wisconsin cross-categorical special education teaching license

Experience working with students exhibiting moderate and mild disabilities

Strong munication and organizational skills

Ability to manage a classroom of approximately 10 students
