Responsibilities

• Team is responsible for design and development of smart and breakthrough solutions for secure internet / enterprise connectivity and endpoint security clients on a variety of desktop and mobile platforms : Windows, MAC, iOS, Android, Linux.
• Design and Development of multi-platform software using latest software development techniques.
• Work with Product Management to understand requirements.
• Write and execute dev test routines for your modules.
• Work with QA to create better test routines, reproduce customer issues and deliver better quality product releases.

Required Skills

• 8+ years software engineering experience, with emphasis in C / C++ networking-based applications for Microsoft Windows.
• Hands-on experience with Networking (TCP / IP, Proxies, Tunnels, VPN).
• Experience with Windows internals and Windows kernel programming.
• Excellent with C++ Programming.
• Experience on Windows desktop application development.
• Experience in leading, architecting, designing, and debugging complex features on Windows.
• Knowledge on tools like Visual Studio, WinDBG, Wireshark, Fiddler.

Desired Skills

• Hands on Windows Networking programming experience with NDIS or LWF.
• Understanding of Layer 3 and higher networking technologies - IP / TCP / HTTP / SSL protocols.
• Strong understanding of network security technologies (e.g. : PKI, VPN or firewall).
• Good understanding of one or more operating systems : Mac, Android or iOS is an advantage.
• Dealing with interoperability issues is a big plus.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission / bonus / equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range : $175,000 $205,000 USD.
