As a Systems Integration Engineer - Gateway C&T System, you will : Serve as the Subject Matter Expert for the Communications and Tracking Sub-Systems of the Gateway Level 2 SubSystemsAssess design compliance of the Gateway Level 2 requirements to commercial providersMaintain and update Gateway Level 2 requirements including Verification Requirements and Interface Requirements DocumentsTrack and maintain requirement documents on task scheduleSupport the Gateway verification activities including verification objectives and procedures, end to end testing development and reviewing Verification Completion Notices (VCNs)Develop and support sub-project requirement and verification data packages to support architecture requirements, design, verification / validation, operations, and sustaining engineeringConduct product life cycle reviews, coordinate integration, verification and validation activitiesReview verification and validation reports to verify compliance with requirementsParticipate and contribute to system requirements reviews, preliminary design reviews and critical design reviewsPerform and review system level architecture trade studies and analyses that will influence the overall electrical design and performanceMust have good communication and organizational skills and the ability to work in a team environmentPerform other duties as required QualificationsExternal Requisition Qualifications : This position has been posted at multiple levels.

Requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering in the field or in a related area.Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in engineering or systems engineeringKnowledge and understanding of SE&I processes, methodologies, tools and technologies including model-based systems engineeringKnowledge of test principles, tools, and processes needed to develop test requirementsKnowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in the space hardware field, such as mechanical and electrical system design, engineering drawings and sketches, and material selection.
