We are looking for a Jr. Software Database Engineer to join us as we build cutting-edge technology solutions! This is your opportunity to be part of a team committed to delivering best-in-class service to our customers.

In this role you will design and oversee the implementation of robust IT architectures that meet present and future cross-functional requirements.

The successful candidate will ensure that systems are compatible, compliant with agency IT standards, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives.

Additionally, they will provide leadership and supervision to a dedicated team.

Responsibilities :

  • Design architecture encompassing software, hardware, and communications to support current and future cross-functional requirements and interfaces.
  • Ensure systems' compatibility and compliance with agency IT standards and profiles of standards, specifically tailored to the platform, system integration, and external interfaces.
  • Guarantee compliance of the common operating environment, evaluating problems systematically and developing corrective action plans.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required. MBA or other advanced degree preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience required.
  • Proficiency in broad technology delivery, including custom development using various programming languages.
  • Experience in providing technical leadership, mentoring software engineering design and development, and presenting technical options to leads and clients.
  • Proven ability to drive technical planning and solutions for small software portfolios, including managing vendor evaluations and justifying technical recommendations.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply fundamental concepts, processes, and procedures to technical assignments.
  • Practical experience and training are required to excel in this role.

Salary Range

Pay ranges vary based on multiple factors including, without limitation, skill sets, education, responsibilities, experience, and geographical market.

The pay range for this position reflects geographic based ranges for Washington state : $80,000 to $100,000 USD / annually.

The salary / wage and job title for this opening will be based on the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience and may be outside this range.
