JobDescription :

• Responsiblefor the Project Management of the bandwidth upgrade. Performanalysis and design of the network using primarily but not limitedto Arista and Cisco technologies to ensure minimum impact toservices during network refreshactivities.
• Developingproject governance and oversite structure. Develop / review ofrouter / switch configuration templates for the tobe deployed Aristaand Cisco networkdevices.
• Escalaterisks to the OTI staff and Executive team; manage all risks tocompletion. Perform SNMP syslog NTP and NetFlowtesting.
• Forecastcritical path and provide project plan baseline dates. Coordinateafter hours changes with various agencies create change ticketspursue approvals and respond to any questions that may be raised byany of the OTIteams.
• Providingregular status reports to exec management and projectteams.
• Developand manage project communicationsplans.
• Coordinateteam resources and OTI internal resources needed for the successfulcompletion of the network and bandwidthupgrade.
• 8.Perform analysis and design of the network using primarily but notlimited to Arista and Cisco technologies to ensure minimum impactto services during network refreshactivities.
• Completerouter / switch Arista configuration templates for newly deployeddevices.
• Coordinateafter hours changes with various agencies create change ticketspursue approvals and respond to any questions that may be raised byany of the OTIteams.
• Review / Implementnetwork best practices configuration in compliance with OTIstandards

RequiredSkills :

• Minimum8 years of experience in the field ofnetworking
• Musthave handson experience with BGP MPLS OSPF routing protocols in alargeenvironment.

DesireSkills :

• Minimum8 years of experience with Cisco and / or Arista networkinstallations in multiple tier configurations interconnected overdarkfiber.
• Experiencein deploying Cisco Catalyst / Nexus Switches and NCS routers withcomplete understanding of the limitations of line cards powersupplies and featuresets. 6yrs.
• Experiencein MPLS EIGRP OSPF iBGP eBGP ISIS routingprotocols
• ConfiguringCORE / PE and CPE routers / switches in a mid to large sizeorganization or carriers. 4yrs.
• Detailedunderstanding of designing and implementing overall enterprise QoSsolution including queuing for Catalyst Nexus and NCS products. 2yrs.
• Detailedunderstanding of deploying management protocols (SNMPv3 SyslogNetflowetc.) 4yrs.
• Understandingof optical technology theories and testing including but notlimited to fiber types fiber terminations attenuation powertransmission bandwidth budget andloss.
• Valid / currentCCNPcertificate.

Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of networking Must havehands-on experience with BGP, MPLS, OSPF routing protocols in alarge environment.

Minimum 8 years of experience with Cisco and / orArista network installations in multiple tier configurationsinterconnected over dark fiber.

Experience in deploying CiscoCatalyst / Nexus Switches and NCS routers, with completeunderstanding of the limitations of line cards, power supplies andfeature-sets.

6 yrs. Experience in MPLS, EIGRP, OSPF, iBGP, eBGP,IS-IS routing protocols Configuring CORE / PE and CPErouters / switches in a mid to large size organization or carriers.

4yrs. Detailed understanding of designing and implementing overallenterprise QoS solution, including queuing for Catalyst, Nexus andNCS products.

2 yrs. Detailed understanding of deploying managementprotocols (SNMPv3, Syslog, Netflow,etc.) 4 yrs. Understanding ofoptical technology theories and testing including but not limitedto fiber types, fiber terminations, attenuation, powertransmission, bandwidth, budget and loss.

Valid / current CCNPcertificate. Strong analytical and conceptual skills. Ability towork in cross functional teams, excellent attention to detail.

Highly self-motivated and strong customer and quality focus. Soundproblem resolution, judgment, and decision-making skills.

Experience working with technical and non-technical staff.Experience reviewing project design and system documents 4 yrs.
