Certifications : ACLS, BCLS Must-Have : - Willingness to float as needed Job Description : Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias- Handling multi-system organ failure- Administering IV insulin protocols- Accessing ports and administering blood products - Managing central lines and PICC lines- Starting IVs and continuous IV sedation- Titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips- Assisting with management of BiPAP, CPAP, and High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC)- Interpreting ABGs and ventilator management- Implementing infection prevention and isolation precautions using PPE- Performing phlebotomy and caring for surgical wounds with drains or wound vacs Preferred Skills / Certs / Experience : - Familiarity with Cerner, previous charge experience, charting experience, and experience in community hospitals- NIH certification Patient Diagnoses : - Sepsis, CHF, COPD, DKA, COVID, ETOH withdrawal, pneumonia Special Procedures / Unit Details : - Diltiazem drip titration, insulin drip titration, amiodarone, precedex drip Additional Information : Locals not accepted, must be from 50 miles or more away from the facility- No Cerner training provided through the facility- Smoke-free facility- Required fit test prior to being onsite- Navy blue scrubs required
