Psychiatrist Job Summary
We are seeking for a skilled and compassionate psychiatrist to join our team and support the well-being of our patients. Psychiatrist will provide a full range of services to diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders using various types of examination tools and methods.
Collaborate with Sacramento NeuroPsych Associates' team to plan and direct each individual patient's treatment program. This position requires the ability to provide in-person and / or telemedicine services depending on the patient needs.

We are committed to providing outstanding mental healthcare to our community by utilizing medication management and cutting-edge, evidence-based Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatment.
Our practice consists of two board certified psychiatrists and a psychiatric nurse practitioner. We are a growing outpatient practice looking to add highly skilled professionals who want to work in a collaborative environment.

Psychiatrist Duties and Responsibilities
Evaluate and gather patient medical history
Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
Develop and implement treatment plans for children, adolescents, and adults
Regular Follow up with patients clinically needed
Collaborate with other mental health professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team
Provide education and support to patients and their families
Apply ethical standards in dealing with a patients
Psychiatrist Requirements and Qualifications
Education
Medical degree (DO, MD)
Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency and / or fellowship program
License and / or Certification
Current valid license to practice in the State of California
Board certified / board eligible in psychiatry
Must have a National Provider Identifier (NPI) or obtain NPI prior to employment start date

Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Demonstrate professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities.
Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans.
Demonstrate ability to complete multiple tasks / objectives in a timely manner.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Demonstrate ability to document patient's records to keep track of history and progress.
Display proficiency and punctuality with patient charting in EHR
