About The Position

Must-Have :

• Two years of nursing experience preferred.
• At least one prior travel assignment preferred.
• Certification in ENPC or PALS, and TNCC or TNS required.
• Experience in managing a variety of critical patients.
• Proficiency in titrating vasopressor drips and cardiac medications.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and react to emergencies.

Description :

This Emergency Room position involves caring for patients of all ages with a wide variety of medical complaints.

Nurses will encounter both critically ill patients and those with less severe conditions.

The unit is equipped with 65 private beds, including two trauma bays.

Nurse-to-patient ratios are typically 1 : 3-5, depending on the acuity of cases.

Responsive care in the trauma bay is handled by a specialized team.

Nurses may assist with trauma patients once stabilized and transferred to their pods.

Support staff, including ED techs, assist with patient care to enhance efficiency.

Monitor techs are available, but nurses are required to read cardiac strips and recognize life-threatening rhythms.

Laboratory draws can be performed by both nurses and techs.

The job consists of 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays on a rotating schedule.

All necessary scrubs must be tasteful and in solid colors.

Floating to other units may occur but is uncommon.

#The role may require assisting in various capacities as needed.
