Assembler, Associate
Tracking Code N2021-03-008 Job Description WR is seeking an Assembler that is responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient assembly of electronic and electro-mechanical systems.
The selected candidate will be responsible for product quality, following instructions, meeting product due date requirements, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following :
- Under close supervision, performs repetitive electro-mechanical assembly of products per instructions, within specified time and quality standards.
- Completes measuring, fitting, wiring, soldering, and testing of parts.
- Reviews drawing or other instructions and accurately assembles components.
- Rejects and notifies supervisor when encountering defective material.
- Evaluates quality of finished work product.
- Maintains cleanliness of work station.
Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience :
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- One (1)+ years of assembly experience and general use of common hand and power tools.
- IPC / WHMA-A-620, IPC J-STD-001 certification or ability to achieve certification
- Experience reviewing drawings, diagrams, and schematics preferred.
Additional Requirements :
- Must be able to work production shift schedule.
- Must be able to stand for entire shift.
- Must be able to lift and carry at least 35 lbs.
- Must be able to perform repetitive work according to set procedures.
