ProCare Therapy is seeking a part-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join the Boulder Valley School District in Boulder, Colorado.
This position involves working 16 hours per week, providing 1 : 1 support to an 18-year-old student with significant seizures.
The role is onsite and available for an immediate start, continuing through May 23rd. There is an option to extend the hours to full-time by adding para duties if needed.
Position Details :
- Location : Boulder, CO (Boulder Valley SD)
- Position : Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Schedule : Part-time, 16 hours per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday; 11 : 00 AM - 3 : 00 PM)
- Option : Can be extended to full-time with para duties
- Caseload : 1 : 1 with an 18-year-old male student with significant seizures
- Work Type : Onsite
Responsibilities :
- Provide 1 : 1 nursing care to an 18-year-old student with significant seizures.
- Monitor and manage the students medical needs during school hours.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the student's safety and well-being.
Qualifications :
- Must have active LPN licensure in Colorado.
- Experience working with students with significant medical needs is preferred.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
