Your Responsibilities on the Team
- Lead the design and development of cloud-based Lennar Business System applications using microservices architecture and ReactJS web, JavaScript-run Node.js server.
- Promote the use of best-in-class Node.js and Java Design patterns (ways of structuring the code within a software application to optimize code functionality) across the software engineering team using the Express.
js, Nest.js and Spring boot frameworks.
Approve GitHub pull requests used by the team members to report that they’ve completed developing certain sections of the code that need to be reviewed;
perform code reviews; and lead the code deployment process, ensuring sufficient change testing.
- Ensure software engineering team alignment on processes, procedures, and documentation associated with the Lennar Business System applications development.
- Oversee support for existing functionalities that is being provided by support developers.
- Ensure all application solutions meet the requirements while addressing current and anticipated business needs and are delivered on time and within budget.
- Build relationships with business stakeholders, infrastructure teams, other IT teams, and vendors.
Requirements
Requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and 7 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years of experience with Node.
js, Express.js, and Spring Boot frameworks, Microservices architecture, Azure cloud services, Rest APIs, Java Design patterns, Angular, SQL / NoSQL database, CI / CD tools (Jenkins, Git Actions, Azure DevOps) and Kubernetes.

Physical & Office / Site Presence Requirements :
Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities / job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job.
Requires the ability to work more than eight hours per day in the confined quarters of a construction trailer, the ability to operate a motor vehicle, read plans, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and / or carry equipment which may be in excess of 50 pounds.
Job may require occasional operation of construction equipment. Finger dexterity may be required to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
