US - Sr Demand & Asset Planner

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and aerospace industry, is seeking a US - Sr Demand & Asset Planner to join their team. As a US - Sr Demand & Asset Planner, you will be part of the Supply Chain Department supporting production planning and materials management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, proactive problem-solving, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location : Torrance, CA

Pay Range : $$40 / hr

Shift : 8-5

What's the Job?

  • Lead the monthly Production Planning process cycle for your assigned product cells at the Torrance site
  • Ensure that the network Capacity Plans and Constrained Master Production Schedules optimize labor and machine resources
  • Collaborate with functional teams to resolve demand, capacity constraints, and material availability issues, supporting planners in maintaining accurate planning parameters and material master data
  • Participate in monthly SIOP meetings to approve network production plans, present associated risks, and discuss mitigation strategies with leadership
  • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction while ensuring working capital remains within business goals

What's Needed?

  • 3+ years of Supply Planning, Operations Planning / Scheduling, Materials Management, or related functional experience
  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain within a manufacturing environment, preferably in defense and aerospace sectors
  • 3+ years of planning experience using SAP ERP systems
  • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status due to export restrictions
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills
