Job Details
- THIS IS AN CHILDREN'S UNIT! MUST BE COMFORTABLE AND EXPERIENCED!
- Works with the multidisciplinary team to identify individual and group needs and interventions.
- Utilizes the nursing process to meet the needs of patients requiring complex nursing care.
- Provides clinical supervision of MHW's to ensure safe and therapeutic delivery of care.
- The Co-Occurring Disorders Inpatient Treatment Program offers 24-hour care in a safe and nurturing environment that's designed to promote healing and ongoing recovery.
- Our treatment approach focuses on helping patients develop and maintain their sobriety while also managing co-occurring psychiatric issues (such as Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety Disorders, etc.).
- The Co-Occurring Disorders treatment team specializes in providing high-quality intervention, medically assisted drug and alcohol withdrawal, stabilization, and the education needed to ensure a strong and successful recovery.
Job Requirements
- 5 years of experience as an RN required (recent experience must be within the last 3 months) - REQUIRED
- Psych / Behavioral Health experience and age groups must be listed on the resume - REQUIRED
- Must have adolescent / child psych experience listed in resume - REQUIRED
- Must be willing to float to other units and take charge shifts - REQUIRED
- Will consider first time travelers

- RTO cannot exceed 7 days
- Psych skills checklist (within the last year)
- 2 supervisory references from last 2 years of employment
Schedule Information
- Any scheduling requests must be presented in the submission file.
- RTO will not be approved for 11 / 24-11 / 30 and 12 / 22-1 / 5 - Travelers must be willing to work 2 of the 3 holidays, based on the facilities needs.
Additional Details
- Effective 6 / 24 / 2024, any candidates presented to Brattleboro Retreat that live within 35 miles of the facility will be subject to a 10% rate decrease.
- Facility housing offered depending on vacancy. Should the traveler choose to accept facility housing, it will be $300-450 depending on which rooms / sizes are available.
Agency is responsible for the leasing agreement and is outlined in the Client Specific Exhibit that was signed by your agency.
