Responsibilities

• Earn $17 per hour! Weekly pay with overtime after 40 hours!
• Multiple Shifts Available :
• Friday to Sunday, 6 : 00 AM 7 : 30 PM (9.5-hour shifts)
• Sunday to Wednesday, 4 : 00 PM 2 : 30 AM (12.5-hour shifts)
• Operate an automatic Ottawa Yard Truck to move loaded and unloaded 53 trailers around the Reverse Logistics Center, ensuring safe and efficient trailer placement.
• Perform daily equipment checks : check fluid levels, clean air filters, and examine equipment for damage or leaks. Ensure all loads are secure before movement.
• Utilize the Yard Management System to maintain accurate trailer tracking.
• When required, operate forklifts to move pallets or materials and stack items per inventory instructions.
• Follow all safety protocols while performing tasks such as bending, stooping, and lifting 50-75 pounds repetitively in extreme environmental conditions, including heat, cold, and air particulate.
• Promote a safe work environment, adhering to company standards and maintaining a clean work area.

Requirements

• 4-6 months of verifiable forklift operator experience.
• Must be 20 years of age or older.
• Able to maneuver 53 trailers in tight spaces without causing damage.
• High degree of attention required to prevent injury and promote safety.
• Comfortable working in extreme conditions and with mandatory overtime when needed.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection at some locations, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, and color vision.
• Good sense of balance and eye-hand-foot coordination required.
• Must be able to pass a Drug Screen, Physical, and comprehensive Background Check.
