Job Description :

We are seeking a highly motivated and responsible individuals to join our team as Armed Retail Security Officers. As a Armed Retail Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors.

You will do foot patrols for designated areas, enforce security protocols, and respond to incidents when necessary.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas on foot
• Observe and report any suspicious activities, hazards, or violations of company policies
• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, and requests for assistance
• Perform access control duties, verifying credentials and maintaining proper documentation
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms to identify potential security threats
• Conduct investigations and complete incident reports as required
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when needed
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing inquiries or concerns
• Enforce company rules and regulations to maintain order and discipline
• Follow proper protocols for locking and unlocking designated areas

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Knowledge of firearms preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently and professionally with diverse individuals and diffuse potentially challenging situations.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle high-pressure situations
• Physical ability to perform security duties, including standing / walking for extended periods, navigating stairs, and potentially restraining individuals if required.
• Ability to work independently, make quick and sound decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with security systems and technology
• Possession of a valid driver's license and clean driving record (if applicable)
