We are hiring a Customer Service Representative for the warranty department. A Customer Service Representative is responsible for resolving warranty issues for homeowners.

This role involves coordinating with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and satisfactory completion of warranty repairs.

The ideal candidate will be adaptable in a fast-paced environment, inherently possess a positive, gracious, and friendly attitude, possess strong problem solving skills and have strong attention to detail with some construction knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities Include :

  • Manage warranty claims from submission to completion ensuring they are handled efficiently and within warranty guidelines.
  • Ability to assist homeowners with questions and instruct homeowners with home maintenance.
  • Comfortable overcoming objections, and maintaining professional communication with homeowners, subcontractors, and internal teams
  • Maintain homeowner portals with current and up-to-date information
  • Schedule and coordinate repairs with subcontractors and homeowners, ensuring timely completion.
  • Schedule inspections with homeowners, review inspection reports to determine appropriate action and maintain proper documentation
  • Heavy data entry and processing
  • Maintain accurate document control and homeowner files.
  • Ability to clarify customer questions and provide resources
  • Projects and tasks as assigned by the Construction Manager and Customer Service Manager.
  • Update and track records in spreadsheets, maintaining accurate data ongoing for special projects.
  • Cross-training amongst administrative team and field staff for backup support.
  • Understanding of construction processes and warranty standards
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements :

  • One to three years of related work experience preferred.
  • Strong clerical skills in Microsoft 365 for Business, Outlook, Excel, Teams, Sharepoint
  • Excellent verbal / written communication skills
  • Strong problem resolution
  • Ability to self-manage time and projects
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality relative to daily work schedule
  • Works well under deadlines and reprioritization tasks frequently throughout the week.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $22.00
