A well-established underground utility contractor is seeking to add a Project Manager to our team. The Project Manager is responsible for the coordination, organization, control, and completion of assigned projects on time, within budget, and in a manner, which will enhance the company’s reputation.
Must be located in Arizona.
Qualifications :
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, and other standard management software
- Must have good documentation skills and be proactive in resolving issues quickly
- Ability to write professional and effective correspondence
- Ability to timely organize and archive project documentation such as emails, files, etc. for easy access and recall
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with computers and HCSS HeavyJob project management software helpful
- Underground utility (wet) experience is REQUIRED
Responsibilities :
- Working with the project superintendent, establishing, maintaining and managing GC expectations regarding overall project performance
- Plan, monitor, and help control the project throughout its lifecycle
- Review supplier / sub quotes and award accordingly
- Prepare and update project schedules
- Notify responsible parties in any change or deviation of original work and prepare and thoroughly document change order requests
- Identify issues proactively and work with the team to resolve effectively
- Conduct thorough project closeouts and see that all paperwork / sign-offs are completed as required
- Demonstrate appropriate people skills to facilitate smooth operation of the project
- Maintain thorough, organized and legible job files
- Review and compile pay applications on a monthly basis
- Contract administration and management
- Lead project buyout with subcontractors
