Security Professional - Manufacturing Access Control

As an Access Control professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entry points, conducting routine patrols, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. Your role will involve interacting with employees and visitors, verifying credentials, and providing outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. Job Schedule : Day Time

Mon 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Tue 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Fri 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Sat 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

Sun 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and control access to the facility, verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with access-related inquiries and directions.
  • Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies to help maintain a secure environment within the manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and observe for any unusual activity.
  • Document and report any security-related incidents, suspicious activities, or breaches of access protocols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist with emergency response activities when necessary, maintaining communication with Allied Universal and site management.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • A Security Professional Guard Card is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
