SUMMARY :
Directs andgenerates aftermarket business opportunities for the Gas TurbineFluid Systems Division (GTFSD) including supporting our JointVenture Advanced Atomization Technologies (AATech) bid andproposals.
Position to be based in Glendale AZ. This ProductManager position is responsible for multiple programs with highearnings and revenue accountability and complex products andsubsystems across the GTFSD and AATech locations.
Works withbusiness teams other divisions as required and current andpotential customers to promote company technologies products andservices to meet customer needs and to determine how the divisionscapabilities are leveraged into additional markets.
Revenueguidelines can be applied in determining the appropriate gradelevel.
Responsible for achieving aftermarketservice centers financial and customer service goals incoordination with the assigned operating division which may includeone or more sites.
Acts as primary strategicProduct Line focal point for aftermarket services covering a rangeof products & customers. Initiates and works closely withdivision site(s) and SSO Segment teams to maximize long termaftermarket revenues and provides short and longterm salesforecasts.
Provides mentorship and executionguidance to the division site(s) customer service AftermarketServices Manager. Addresses critical longer term customer issuesand leads project teams to improve short & longterm processresults.
Acts as primary strategic customercontact for aftermarket products and services including productrepairs spares logistics contract and pricing negotiations.
Coordinates with technical and segment teams with field performanceissues for input on resolution. Works closely with SSO and Divisionbusiness development and SSO Segment Leaders to maximizeaftermarket revenues ensuring alignment with shortand longtermsales forecasts.
Develops and supportsproposals and contracts designed to attract the customer andprovide an acceptable level of return to the company by researchingcustomer requirements and translating them into developmentopportunities.
Develops strategies and solutions for contractsopened for re negotiation during the contract period.
Conducts competitive research evaluatessales performance and formulates goals and milestones for specificproducts and systems.
Applies thorough understanding of thedivisions technical capabilities operational capacity and marketinformation to influence future and strategies.
Serves as the liaison and facilitator with customersand Regional / Group Marketing to resolve issues and assure customersatisfaction regarding cost product quality delivery andperformance.
Provides the customer and division with liaisonsupport within and across divisions on existing and new programs.Stays in close contact with division technology business units andoperations teams to enable rapid turnaround solutions.
Develops and maintains relationships with customers togain knowledge of future market and customer needs and furtherdevelop business opportunities.
Identifiesopportunities for business development by studying competitorsproducts problems market intelligence and identifyingtrends.
Maintains professional and technicalknowledge by attending educational workshops reviewing trade andtechnical publications establishing professional networksparticipating in professional associations and attending industrytrade shows.
Establishes goals andobjectives to carryout programs or functions by coordinatingefforts across the division. Recommends actions by analyzing andinterpreting data and making complex comparativeanalyses.
Education and / or ExperienceBachelors degree (BA) in Marketing Engineering or related field oran equivalent combination of education and experience which hasprovided both theoretical and practical knowledge in the field.
Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the jobtypically acquired through ten or more years of increasinglyresponsible experience including five or more years of highlevelprogram management and established customer contacts with majorrevenue or scope of responsibility.
