Instructors are responsible for direct instruction delivered to learners within client organizations or learners of ReigniteEd, Inc.

classes. The Instructor will analyze, plan, and deliver relevant and effective instruction. An Instructor’s responsibilities will include instruction that follows high educational standards, is student-centered, and creates measurable outcomes.

ReigniteED, Inc.’s mission is to fight illiteracy by equipping the vulnerable and empowering the organizations that serve them.

The successful candidate will have a desire to equip and empower learners with knowledge and skills that will enable them to successfully achieve their educational and employment goals.

Minimum Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field and four years of experience in adult education;
• Experience in instructional and curriculum design;
• Expertise in utilizing educational technology and other technology software;
• Excellent oral and written communication skills;
• Experience with workforce development;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other digital tools; and
• Current driver’s license and reliable transportation with up to date insurance.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

INSTRUCTION

• Plan individualized lesson plans based on workforce and educational needs of learners;
• Use educational technology to facilitate learning;
• Deliver instruction to learners in-person or online;
• Have access to a personal computer with virus protection, a webcam, and microphone that can connect to the internet.

TRAINING AND CAPACITY BUILDING :

• Remain abreast of best practices in adult education, data on at-risk populations, and national trends in educational needs in workforce development; and,
• Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance and improve instructional praxis and understand trauma-informed care.

ANALYSIS AND CURRICULUM DEVELOPMENT

Implement instructional design and curriculum development for learners.

ADMINISTRATIVE

Comply with all reporting and communication requirements to ReigniteEd Inc’s Executive Director.

LEADERSHIP

Serve as an ambassador of the ReigniteEd, Inc.’s values both internally and externally.
