Certified Nursing Assistant

Eisenhower Center is seeking to hire Direct Service Professionals' (DSP) at our Ann Arbor location.

Direct Support Professional Essential Duties :

• Provide opportunities through the day to help residents meet their goals.
• Adhere to the person-centered plans, and behavior plans as written for each resident.
• Provide quality of care and safe and healthy setting free from harm while upholding the rights of all residents. Create a space of trust and relationship with all residents.
• Transport residents and attend appointments, advocate, and obtain necessary documentation, when needed.
• Must remain awake and immediately accessible in all homes requiring 24 / 7 care.

Direct Support Professional Preferred Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Experience with providing direct care to individuals with disabilities(preferred)
• Ability to accept feedback
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and demonstrate patience and empathy.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• 18 years of age
• Ability to pass background checks as required by regulatory agencies.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from work
• CNA Required

Additional Notes :

Staff in Full Time / Part Time Slots are expected to work the set schedule consistently and are permitted to pick up additional shifts with approval.

Direct Support Professional Pay rate :

$16.15 base pay Bi-Weekly

Schedules available :

Sunday-Thursday B shift 330p-12a

Tuesday-Saturday B shift 330p-12

Friday-Monday B shift 330p-12a
