Position Summary :
Restore First Health is looking to add a highly skilled and experienced part-time Medical Director to its rapidly expanding advanced therapy wound team.
The Medical Director will oversee and lead our mobile wound care team. The ideal candidate will provide expert medical guidance and clinical leadership to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care throughout Texas.
Overseeing nurse practitioners and medical assistants, this position works collaboratively to ensure a high level of patient care as well as successful collaboration with home health, visiting physician practices, and other integral referral sources to the practices.
Leadership qualities include daily team management of clinical tasks and working with on-the-road teams for timely clinical input and feedback as needed.
Responsibilities :
- 100% outpatient scheduling of patients (bedside care)
- No weekends and no call
- Practice consists of advanced wound care utilizing skin substitutes and other innovative at-home therapies
- Competitive hourly rate. This is currently a part-time, 10 hour per week position with the potential for full time.
- Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, Pathology, Wound Care, Vascular, or Infection Disease physicians welcome to apply
- Prefer a physician that does have experience working with wounds
Minimum Requirements :
- Active Medical license in the State of TX.
- Board Certified
