About The Position
Job Title : MRI Technologist I Job Specialty : Adult MRI Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Days, 5x8 Hr Guaranteed Hours : 40.
00 per week Experience : Level I Trauma experience required License : Must meet applicant eligibility requirements for MRI Certification Certifications : BLS must be current upon hire Must-Have : Level I Trauma experience Job Description : Work under immediate to general supervision and direction of a mentor / preceptor as an entry-level MRI Technologist.
- Deliver specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic technology services to adult and / or pediatric patients.- Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with procedures ordered by physicians.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care team members.- Utilize a variety of specialized cardiovascular and / or radiologic equipment and techniques.
- Conduct post-procedure reviews to confirm completion and documentation in line with protocols.- Transfer images and data to appropriate archival systems and prepare studies for physician reporting.
- Perform operator-level quality control checks, cleaning, and user maintenance per instructions.- Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities.
- Maintain accurate records and work accurately with names, numbers, and codes.- Exercise discretion in handling confidential information and demonstrate attention to detail.
- Work independently with general supervision or assistance as needed.- Maintain sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs, acting professionally and compassionately.
- Demonstrate the ability to multi-task and remain calm in stressful situations.
