SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE (QA) AUTOMATION ENGINEER (REMOTE)

Note : This is a contingent offer based on the award of the project and a successful end client interview along background check.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and implementing automated testing solutions for large-scale applications.

Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts
• Create test strategies, plans, and scripts for large-scale applications and test suites
• Perform automated testing and regression testing while monitoring new developments
• Produce evaluated test reports and participate in software walkthroughs
• Collaborate with the QA Supervisor and / or QA Lead to create Level of Effort (LOE) estimates, Test Strategies, and Test Plans
• Work with cross-functional teams (BAs, Developers, QA Analysts, DBAs) to define reusable test cases and complete Requirements Traceability Matrix
• Assist with Performance / Load testing efforts
• Communicate effectively, provide timely status updates, and escalate issues appropriately
• Participate in Defect Triage and Review meetings
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date QA documentation
• Provide QA leadership on assigned projects and support the Functional QA team as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements :

• 7+ years of experience in QA Test Automation roles, developing automation frameworks and executing test scripts
• 5+ years of programming experience in JAVA, C#, or C++
• 3+ years of experience developing automation frameworks and executing test scripts in a large enterprise IT environment using agile methodologies
• 3+ years of experience with Continuous Integration (CI) tools like Jenkins and test management tools like IBM Collaborative Lifecycle Management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for conveying test plans, updates, and results
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using modern testing methodologies
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience in designing and developing automation frameworks using page-object model
• Experience with software development for large-scale applications and / or leading automation testing initiatives
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and technologies (Java, .NET, Python, SQL, etc.)
• Experience programming in Java using Eclipse IDE
• Strong understanding of database concepts, design, implementation, and SQL query writing
• Knowledge of open-source automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI)
