About This Opportunity
Responsibilities :
Individual is responsible for defining and refining the future strategy for Digital by keeping pace of the entire market landscape, understanding current state of business for 7-Eleven and it's systems, conducting ROI analysis / market sizing to understand opportunity, and providing recommendations to leadership.
Individual will also execute on certain POCs and partnerships (in partnership with R&D) with tech startups to do quick test and learns.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES :
Market Research :
Conduct research on digital trends, competitor activities, and market conditions. Use research findings to inform strategic decisions and stay ahead of industry developments.
Monitor, track, and share market trends for product innovations, new digital products, new operations and delivery methods etc.
Define, gather, analyze and distribute intelligence about competitors and any aspect of their digital initiatives to support executives and directors in strategic decision making for the organization.
Continue to keep pulse of all innovations, world-wide in the market.
Strategy Development :
Enable strategy formation based off market assessment and provide recommendations to the team.
Support Digital products and R&D on any executional elements based off strategic formation.
Data Analysis & Insights & Business Case Development
Analyze retail data from various sources to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Provide actionable insights to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Based off strategic priorities identified, create business case to evaluate the opportunity and provide a data driven recommendation to 7-Eleven.
Manage Executive level communications, including board decks, investor and executive updates, EC off-sites, weekly company wide updates, etc.
Qualifications :
EDUCATION : Bachelors / 4 Yr Degree.
YEARS OF RELEVANT WORK EXPERIENCE : 2+ years.
YEARS OF MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE : NA.
CERTIFICATIONS / LICENSES : None.
1 2 years of experience in management consulting, particularly with a focus on digital strategy or retail transformation.
Experience working with major consulting firms (e.g., McKinsey & Company, BCG, Deloitte) is highly desirable.
