Overview

The County Court Division of the District Attorney's Office seeks a legal assistant to provide the professional staff with responsible legal assistance and technical support.

County court legal assistants maintain mild to heavy caseloads in a trial division and share tasks in smaller courtrooms.

Legal assistants are primarily in charge of case data entry. During trial, legal assistants will coordinate witnesses and assist with AV equipment.

They also maintain trial spreadsheets to assist in trial coordination and calendar meetings for attorneys with witnesses and victims.

A legal assistant in this division should be comfortable communicating, training, and taking initiative as they are typically assigned newer DDAs.

Employees in this role will be successful if they enjoy multitasking, working in a team, and have flexibility in helping cover our Fort Collins and Loveland locations.
