About The Role

Comfluence is seeking an Associate Director, Audience & Data Strategy to join our growing team in New York. This role is a unique opportunity to shape and independently drive audience strategy on a high-profile, multi-vertical client that touches nearly every facet of modern consumer life. Focusing within e-commerce and health services, you’ll be a key partner in translating leadership’s transformation priorities into day-to-day, actionable strategies that guide media planning, targeting, and measurement.

As an individual contributor, you’ll serve as the bridge between enterprise-level objectives and executional teams, bringing clarity, rigor, and consistency to how audience insights and strategies are developed and applied to paid media strategy. This role requires strong analytical and storytelling skills, the ability to drive collaboration and build rapport across teams with diverse expertise, and the discipline to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities

• Synthesize complex data into actionable insights and clear recommendations informing media strategy & activation working with data from a variety of sources (e.g., Nielsen, MRI, GWI, 1P, etc)
• Partner closely with analytics and data science teams to design custom audience approaches
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable frameworks for segmentation, audience targeting, and audience-based measurement in collaboration with investment, marketing sciences, and strategy teams.
• Conduct audience overlap analyses and sizing to inform segmentation and targeting approaches
• Support enterprise-level transformation initiatives, advancing the approach to data and technology supporting audience-centric planning
• Manage audience taxonomy implementation and maintenance in partnership with data operations
• Serve as a connector across teams, ensuring audience insights are embedded and flow seamlessly across planning, activation, and reporting.
• Proactively manage multiple concurrent projects with overlapping timelines, balancing short-term needs with long-term priorities
• Build trust and collaboration with teams from different backgrounds, guiding alignment and fostering productive ways of working.

Compensation Range : $70,000—$125,000 USD

This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office. The remaining two (2) days may be worked remotely.
