About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse Job Specialty : ICU - Cardiac ICU (CICU) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Night 3x12-Hour (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM) Guaranteed Hours : Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks Experience : Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required License : South Carolina or Multi-State / Compact State RN License Certifications : ACLS and BLS (American Heart Association only) Must-Have : - Experience with CRRT and pre / post cath care- Preference for experience with Swan Ganz, IABP, Impellas Job Description : Work in a 23-bed multi-specialty unit using an acuity-adaptable model- Manage ICU level patients including Swan Ganz catheters and intra-aortic balloon pumps- Care for a patient population primarily consisting of Heart and Vascular, surgical oncology, and plastic surgery- Serve as a stepdown unit for offering a higher level of care- Maintain nurse to patient ratios ranging from 1 : 2-1 : 4 based on patient acuity- Engage with a dynamic, fast-paced healthcare team- Meet facility needs by floating within scope- Be prepared to join emergency response teams during hurricane season from June through November- Required to work 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week period with holiday rotation- Opportunity to accommodate a block schedule upon manager's approval
