Buyer

Description :

The Buyer will be responsible for cleaning up data in preparation for a new ERP system going live in addition to completing manual processes as it relates to procuring goods and services for the organization.

Frequent interaction with suppliers and internal customers will be required.

Skills :

Supply chain, procurement, purchase order, buyer purchasing, contract negotiation, contract management, strategic sourcing

Additional Skills :

• Strong working knowledge of Excel
• Bachelor's degree
• Interest in Healthcare Buying / Procurement / Supply Chain

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or technical discipline.
• Procurement, sourcing, category management, vendor performance management experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to successfully process purchase orders in multiple systems.
• Excellent written, verbal, and communication skills.
• Health care experience a plus.
• Strong negotiating, analytical and computer skills (Microsoft applications) essential.
• Experience with Ariba solutions preferred.
