Job Description :
We are looking for a smart, talented, and highly motivated individual to join our team. Primary duties in this full-time position include copywriting, content development, project coordination, and assistance with strategy development.
Other types of writing also will be required such as articles, white papers, case studies, copy for marketing collateral, advertising copy, social media copy, and more.
Our ideal hire is someone who thinks creatively, understands strategic direction, works well under time constraints, and has at least three years industry writing experience.
This is a cross-functional and collaborative position. Industry experience in technology, healthcare, and / or education is a plus.
No matter what level of experience, the opportunity will consist of retraining tasks and methodologies to ensure a fit as a part of our highly functioning team.
Candidate should have experience in writing the following :
- Websites
- Publications
- Blogs
- White papers
- Case studies
- Print and digital ads
- Social media (organic and paid)
- Email campaigns
- Direct mailer campaigns
- Tradeshow materials
- Billboards
- SEO-based copy
Primary Responsibilities
- Draft marketing content for clients (campaigns, websites, ads, social, etc.)
- Draft internal content for agency (website, blogs, white papers, case studies)
- Work with multiple teams within the agency : client services, creative directors, programmers, etc.
- Proof, edit, and coordinate changes to marketing materials as the last touch point before production or presentation to a client
- Maintain thorough knowledge of clients’ products / services and target audiences
- Conduct secondary research for client campaigns and assist with preparation for client presentations
- Prepare content updates for client online assets to maintain organic search rank
- Provide support to leadership, including routine agency client services activities that may require assistance
- Help maintain agency reputation through superior customer service and communication with all clients, new business prospects, community influencers, suppliers, and internal staff
Qualifications
- BA / BS degree required
- 3-5 years agency experience is preferred
- Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong written and verbal communication and follow-up skills is a must
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple deadlines and tasks is essential
