Technical Project Manager - Piscataway / Basking Ridge / Boston / Atlanta
A technical project manager (TPM) manages projects that require a high level of technical expertise.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure that projects meet the timeline, budget, and scope.
- Execute each phase of the project, monitor progress, and mitigate risk.
- Manage the project's budget and improve resource allocation.
- Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and lead quality assurance.
- Plan projects in detail, including brainstorming, scheduling, and assigning tasks to team members.
- Communicate with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, and collaborate with department heads.
- Create detailed reports for executive staff, and present progress reports, problems, and solutions to stakeholders.
The role requires a combination of technical and tactical skills, as well as organizational and leadership skills. Candidates need to be adaptable and able to solve problems by anticipating issues and taking steps to avoid them.
