• Developing and Implementing IEPs : Create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
• Delivering Engaging Instruction : Utilize differentiated instruction strategies to provide effective and engaging lessons that promote academic growth and social-emotional development.
• Collaboration is Key : Work closely with general education teachers, therapists, and families to ensure a comprehensive approach to each student's education.
• Empowering Students : Help students reach their full potential by fostering a positive and supportive learning environment that celebrates their strengths.

We're Looking For :

• Valid Virginia Special Education Teaching Certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education (Master's preferred).
• Experience developing and implementing IEPs.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Passion for helping students with diverse learning needs succeed.
