Cashiers are the firstpoint of contact for our guests and are directly responsible fordelivering a great experience. You will take and enter orders,handle payments, keep the dining room and other guest areas clean,and provide excellent service to our guests by following standardoperating procedures with a sense ofurgency.

Dutiesand Responsibilities
Theindividual in this position is expected to engage in the followingwork-related activities which may occur inside or outside therestaurant :
- Complete all trainingrequirements including :
- Zaxby's Front of HouseDevelopment Plan
- Hands-on stationstraining
- Any additional training required byZax LLC
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic servicefor all guests
- Promptly greet guests as theyenter and thank them as they leave
- Maintainawareness of current promotions
- Explain menuitems, answer questions, and suggest additionalitems
- Enthusiastically represent the Zaxby'sbrand
- Accurately complete orders and guesttransactions
- Enter guest orders accurately intothe point of sale system
- Accept payments,operate cash registers, and maintainreceipts
- Handle cash payments, count and verifytills, and record totals appropriately
- Maintaina clean, safe, welcoming environment
- Clean andmaintain guest areas including dining room, counters, bathrooms,and building exterior
- Maintain equipment andinform management of maintenance needs
- Stockpaper goods, condiments, serveware, andbeverages
- Keep work areas clean andorganized
- Prepare menu items according tocompany standards and in a safe and sanitarymanner
- Prepare beverages, sauces, produce, andother items
- Ensure food and beverages arehandled according to safety regulations andguidelines
- Accurately complete, package, andpresent guest orders
- Assist with kitchen andback of house tasks as assigned
- Otherresponsibilities
- Complete all tasks with asense of urgency, in a timely manner
- Worksafely and follow all safety guidelines andprocedures
- Other duties asassigned
JobQualifications
The followingrequirements must be met in order to qualify for this position.
- Must be 16 years of age orolder
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours perweek
