About The Position
Weekly Pay Range - $2130 To $2366 Job Title : X-Ray Technician Job Specialty : Radiology Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Evening shifts, Monday to Thursday, 9 am - 7 : 30 pm, with minimal call Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week Experience : Minimum 2 years License : WA state DOH imaging license required.
Must have the license in hand. Certifications : BLS, Certified Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (R) Must-Have : - ARRT registration - Radiation badge (responsibility of the traveler's employer) Job Description : Perform X-rays in the department and Emergency Department- Operate portable X-ray machines- Work alongside other X-ray technicians during shifts- Utilize McKesson PACS and EPIC systems for charting and communication- Use GE, Siemens, and Shimadzu equipment in the radiology department- Provide patient care in an acute care setting- Attend department-specific orientation sessions- Scrubs are provided for the role- Collaborate with in-house radiologists and transporters on day and swing shifts- Maintain high standards of radiology practices within a fast-paced hospital environment- Optional holiday requirement with no weekend graveyard shifts Additional Notes : No IV start required- There is no requirement to float or cover other areas outside of X-ray- The average number of scans ranges from 20 to 50 per day- Departmental orientation includes two hours with the manager and two weeks with staff Cancellation Policy : 3 shifts per 13-week contract Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient - EMR
