General Services Description

o Managed Print Services (MPS) is a solution that provides customers with complete, professional management of their entire output environment (printers, copiers, faxes).

MPS are customized to meet an organization’s specific business objectives and needs. Additional asset management capabilities help ease the transition to an optimized imaging and printing environment and provide ongoing flexibility to meet customer business needs.

• Job Description :

o The role of the Transition team is to plan and successfully transition operational responsibility for contracted Managed Print Services from the customer

o Project management responsibilities will be carried out offsite, remotely.

o Applies developed subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues within established guidelines and recommends appropriate alternatives.

Works on problems of diverse complexity and scope. May act as a team or project leader providing direction to team activities and facilitates information validation and team decision making process.

Exercises independent judgment within generally defined policies and practices to identify and select a solution. Ability to handle most unique situations.

May seek advice to make decisions on complex business issues :

• Manages customer project delivery.
• Large / moderately complex / local or sub- region.
• Medium / high risk.
• Medium complexity legal and commercial issues.
• Meets or exceeds approved budgets.
• Provides reliable hardware order forecasts to management.
• Identifies and develops new opportunities on current project.
• Supports qualification and opportunity assessment for large and moderately complex opportunities.
• Acts as opportunity manager for medium to high-risk deals.
• Manages client relationships.
• Manages mid to upper-level client delivery relationships.
• Frequently represents the organization to external customers / clients.
• Manages project team.
• Manages internal as well as external resources with a team size less than 20 people.
• Complexity :

o Works on complex projects where analysis of situations or data requires an evaluation of multiple factors.

o Delivers projects affecting one or two client divisions.

o Coordinates and integrates the work efforts and deliverables of a large multi-function, multi- vendor project team.

o Project is normally within a single region.

o Manages projects with aggressive but achievable client deadlines.

o Understands contractual and technical aspects as transition lead.

Education and Experience :

o First Level University degree or

o 5 years of experience in project management or in like roles / businesses

Knowledge and Skills :

o Speaks with expertise to many layers of depth related to project management methods

o On a development plan leading to higher PM skills

o Strong people management skills, typically with indirect reports

o Apply effective project management methods

o Analyze and resolve problems

o Focus on customers
