We are seeking a Plant Environmental Manager with a Bachelor of Science degree and a minimum of two years of experience in plant level environmental compliance.
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state environmental laws at our manufacturing facility located in Quincy, IL.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will work closely with the site Safety Manager to promote and lead an effective EHS culture.
Your key responsibilities will include completing all environmental reporting, including EPCRA, and staying updated on new requirements.
You will oversee environmental sampling, manage the Management of Change program, conduct audits, and assess the environmental impact of new products / chemicals and projects.
Additionally, you will coordinate the management and disposal of hazardous material and chemicals, prepare and present capital requests, project scope, and justifications, and maintain SDS documentation for the plant.
