Summary :

Safely operate forklift to load and offload flatbed trucks, move material, and operate machinery to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to meet customer specifications.

Role & Responsibilities :

• Safely operate forklift to load and off load flatbed trucks.
• Verify counts, weights, and measurements of material.
• Prepare and affix shipping labels accurately identifying shipping information.
• Assemble wood or cardboard containers for shipping material.
• Secure containers using nail guns and metal strapping.
• Deliver completed orders to customers using company vehicles.
• Ability to work with quality inspection tools including micrometers and calipers and perform basic dimensional tolerances.
• Work directly with Production Manager to ensure customer delivery requirements are met.

Requirements :

Minimum Requirements :

• Proven work history of reporting to work every day and on time.
• Minimum 2 years forklift operator experience.
• Ability to use measuring tools and perform math calculations, including fractions and decimals.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
• Familiar with basic computer systems.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
