Job Title : Mechanical Engineer Leader
Hybrid or Remote Schedule available - but will need to reside in the Atlanta, GA or the Gainesville, GA area
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer with the drive and ambition to help build and lead an Engineering Team for an award-winning, nationally recognized Architecture Firm.
The ideal candidate will possess the leadership qualities and attributes necessary to grow and develop a team.
Project Experience :
The ideal candidate will possess Multistory Hospitality, Hotels, and / or Mixed-use project experience.
Other project types within the firm include Low-mid-and high rise, entertainment, sports and recreation, faith-based, and general commercial.
Responsibilities :
Oversee the mechanical aspects of projects from conception through to completion
Attending client meetings and leading day-to-day consultant coordination.
Develop and directing Construction Documents and Project Detailing
Construction Administration Duties, reviewing submittals and shop drawings, identifying potential issues and assisting with resolution, as well as assisting in developing solutions to significant or recurring technical challenges.
Work collaboratively with and coordinating with other disciplines
Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form, with an understanding of industry communication protocols..
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Professional Engineer (PE) license
At least 7 10 years of experience in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry
Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD.
Communicate clearly both verbally and in written form, with an understanding of industry communication protocols.
Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations.
