Description :
The Division of Gastroenterology and Hepatology in the Department of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Chicago is seeking faculty members at or above any rank (from instructor to professor and rank / tenure is commensurate with experience) with academic interests in clinical gastroenterology.
An excellent GI fellowship program, state-of-the-art brand-new endoscopy suite and clinic which opened in October 2022, and a wide breadth of clinical and basic science expertise in the division makes this an excellent opportunity for GI fellows graduating from a strong university program, or a mid-career gastroenterologist who is interested in teaching and clinical research as a faculty member.
MD or DO or equivalent degree is required. Candidates should be BC / BE in gastroenterology and hepatology; and eligible to work in Illinois.
Candidates could be general gastroenterologists, have a clinical focus in gastrointestinal motility or inflammatory bowel disease.
Academic productivity is expected and candidates with an interest in scholarly activity and teaching trainees are encouraged to join our established program.
