About Your Position : We are looking for a professional painter to help us open up our wall prep services. This position offers the exciting opportunity of spearheading a new program alongside the Owner / CEO to develop a wall prep / prime and eventually a specialty painting division.
We are looking for a professional that has experience, is a leader, and wants to grow with our team as our long standing company develops a diverse offering of services.

Pay Range : $30-42 / hour Job Duties :
- Read blueprints, material instructions and apply the proper products, as instructed, to the interior walls of high end homes and commercial buildings.
- Remove existing wallpaper from walls (to prepare the surface for new wallpaper by our other skilled installers).
- Prepare drywall surfaces for primer and apply paper / fiberglass mesh tape to cover drywall seams. Smooth walls by sanding taped seams to create a smooth surface before priming the wall / ceiling surface, as required.
Walls will need to be smooth (Level IV or better) before being primed.
- Become familiar with different paint, primer, tape and prep materials required for wall and ceiling applications.
- Inspect completed work to ensure proper installation.
- Work professionally with superintendents, foreman and other trades on different job sites. The ideal candidates are highly motivated to learn and grow with the following qualifications :
