Job Overview : We are seeking two dedicated Junior High Special Education Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in our instructional program, focusing on co-teaching mathematics and English Language Arts (ELA) in grades 6 through 8.

Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with general education teachers to co-plan and co-teach lessons in math and ELA.
- Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate varying academic levels and learning styles.
- Utilize effective behavior management strategies to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed.
- Communicate regularly with parents / guardians and other stakeholders regarding student progress and educational plans.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Special Education or related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Valid state certification in Special Education.
- Experience working with middle school or junior high students preferred.
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
