An ASC is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage. The facility operates 2-4 operating rooms at a time, along with one Endoscopy suite and an Obstetrics unit, using paper charting.
The privileging process takes 60-90 days. Requirements include an M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine, ECFMG, and FLEX certification, completion of an approved residency in Anesthesia, and a current physician license.

The schedule for this position is from 7 AM to 5 PM, with long-range call duties and minimal call backs. The case types include General, Orthopedic, Neurology, Vascular, Obstetrics, Gynecology, Urology, and Neuro (excluding head), with no Cardiac or Pediatric cases.
The supervision model is a mix of solo work, 2 : 1, and 3 : 1 ratios with CRNAs. Overtime is available, and the call duties are low-frequency with long-range call-ins.
