Minimum Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 19 years of age.
- A minimum of one (1) year of education, training and / or experience in one or more of the following areas : child development, teaching, counseling, social work, sociology, psychology, recreation, programming for youth.
- A minimum of six months of work experience with young children.
- Ability to meet the suitability criteria for employment and / or certification licensure under the Alabama Child Protection Act of 1999 and Act No. 2002-457.
- Possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
- Proficiency in oral and written communication skills.
- Use technology to communicate, to manage data, and to produce / submit required reports, correspondence, and / or financial information.
- Physical strength, mobility, dexterity, stamina, and acuity to perform job responsibilities.
- Ability to be punctual and in regular attendance.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may require.
