Job Description :
Responsible for managing, enhancing and developing Retirement products. Provides innovative value propositions and product solutions that address needs of the affluent and high net worth customer.
Develops and maintains product's strategic plan and project performance metrics and forecasts. Understands and communicates gaps in product offerings and develops action plans.
Has experience in financial services industry and demonstrates key strengths in product management, product development, and strategic marketing.
The Education and Plan Services (EPS) is a critical revenue producing product teeming with opportunities for growth. EPS is a non-fiduciary service that provides a broad set of generalized, yet impactful, services to employers and their employees.
EPS consists of two components : Employee Education and Plan Services; The Employee Education helps employees learn about their retirement plan and make more informed decisions to best improve their financial well-being, while The Plan Services help the employer ensure their retirement plans are working effectively.
The Director, Retirement Product and Education and Plan Services (EPS) will be responsible for managing the EPS product focusing on increasing awareness and adoption, enhancing product offering and connectively with other new and existing products, and driving revenue growth.
Responsibilities :
- Driving velocity : Create and enhance content and collateral and improve process to make it easier for existing salesforce to sell / deliver EPS.
- Increase salesforce : Create internal marketing campaign(s) and materials designed to excite Designated Financial Advisors to begin to actively sell and / or deliver EPS.
- Drive adoption : Continuously build out the product in its scope and depth to make the offering beyond comparison.
- Continuously monitor and enhance the control framework, policies & procedures, and oversight capabilities.
- Identify how EPS product can connect with other products / services to create a more comprehensive client experience.
Skills :
- Proven track record of "Product Management" within a large organization
- Positive / Persistent with a "bias for action!"
- Exceedingly high "Emotional Quotient" (EQ) with the demonstrated ability to establish and nurture beneficial business relationships.
- Intellectually curious, self-starter with a willingness to take initiative and help solve complex problems.
- Presentation (+ Written communication) skills to deliver presentations to win support / approval for initiative.
- Demonstrated success moving initiatives from "white board" to the marketplace in either a product development or strategy role.
- Experience / knowledge of technology development approaches, timelines, and protocols
- An enterprise-wide thinker that engages in support of their company's culture, outside of their own day-to-day role and responsibilities.
Requirements :
- 5-10 years related financial services experience
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience
