SMHWI is a high-end mental health clinic with office locations in Glendale, Scottsdale, and Tempe, Arizona. We provide face-to-face and telepsychiatry services at the clinics and to patients in multiple other organizations, rehabilitation centers, and detox facilities throughout Arizona.

We seek a motivated and dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our team at our outpatient mental health clinic in Scottsdale and Tempe Arizona, which offers face-to-face and virtual services.
The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, and able to communicate professionally with clients, colleagues, and other healthcare
Requirements : Responsibilities :
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment plans for patients.
- Conduct individual and group therapy sessions.
- Prescribe and manage medications, including monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
- Offer patient education and counseling to promote mental health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Utilize electronic health records (EHR) effectively for patient management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences.
- Stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.
- Provide virtual telehealth services as needed, ensuring high-quality care and confidentiality.
- Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Current and valid PMHNP license in the state.
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric-Mental Health.
- Certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
- Experience in an outpatient mental health setting is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of psychiatric disorders and treatments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR Valant) systems.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional in all interactions.
